At Marisol we have developed a selective and innovative approach to the managing of laboratory wastes. The alternative fuels industry has for sometime recognized that organic by-products and waste can be important secondary fuel sources. This same philosophy applies to laboratory wastes. Current studies indicate that most lab packs are comprised of over 50% organic material. By segregating lab wastes according to the "Best Demonstrated Technology", Marisol is able to realize more opportunities for waste minimization. This philosophy is in compliance with the EPA Hierarchy, emphasizing recycling and reclamation. Our goal is to maximize the amount of lab waste that may be recycled or reclaimed.
